I'll permit you know in the next hour. I'm literally at the dealer right at present for an oil modify and my camera is doing the same thing in my 2018.

They are taking a expect at it.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's just a bad contact or something. The outcome goes abroad if I open up and shut the hatch with a bit of force.

Still, information technology always comes back.

The same thing happened to me. The dealer replaced the head unit twice to no avail. Believe information technology or not you demand to replace the tailgate latch switch! It is wired in the camera circuit. I got the part on eBay for about $forty and replaced it myself. I haven't had any issues since and it's been over a year. I tin can give more info if you similar.

Thanks! I'yard really hoping it's just the connector in the trunk lid somewhere. Are those connectors easily replaceable and buyable at a parts store? Could you ask your dealer for me lol.

Had that happen to my 2017. Took off the interior pane of the torso. Disconnected the photographic camera. Reconnected the camera. Never had a problem since.

Did you lot make clean the connectors before you lot plugged it back in?

I had this happen to my 2016 virtually a year ago and the trouble was the RGB cable to the photographic camera had gotten pinched somehow by the tailgate, dealer said it was probably airtight to difficult. I'm non 100% if it's the same exact problem but I hope this helps!

Look upwards the TSB for this. Suggested ready is a new camera. Only you might exist able to clean the contacts on the plug.

Wow....thanks for this thread! I accept had this problem on and off over the years. Dealer offset said information technology was a firmware upshot, so they updated the firmware. When I told them that didn't fix it, they tried to replicate the problem but couldn't. And so they said if it happens again I'd have to accept the camera replaced for a few hundred dollars. At that point, I gave upwards and ignored it. No bug recently but everything here is super helpful in case information technology happens again!

Yeah my 2018 did the verbal aforementioned thing too. More than apparent after a rainy mean solar day.

My 2017 had the same result. It was still under warranty, they tried updating the firmware, only ended up replacing the camera.

Been having the same issue with my 2018 Mazda three. I've tried the reboot method that worked once simply opening and closing my body is the only way to make it work over again :/ I wish at that place was a YouTube video on fixing it, all I e'er find is videos of people installing one on a vehicle that wasn't equipment to brainstorm with :(

You probably fixed it but a temporary solution is to reboot the infotainment organisation then open and close the hatch with slight force. Information technology sucks but I gotta do this until I get it fixed permanently

I've but resorted to closing the trunk carefully and not slamming information technology shut. It seems to exist just fine at present! Oasis't had that happen since. Just gotta be careful with it I guess.
